SITUATION: The Advocacy Academy is an intensive four day adventure in London that challenges students, ages 17-18, to speak truth to power. They focus on teaching young people from vulnerable backgrounds to feel informed and confident so that they can effectively stand up for what they believe in.
CONCEPT: The goal is to create an appealing brand image for potential participants with a strong unique typographical visual experience that inspires them to participate in the program. Inspirational quotes are used that refer to other activist. The design reflects the passionate personalities of the audience.
The posters have been placed in classrooms and showcased at events in London.
The posters will be given a digital format to reach the audience online and to allow easy access to additional information about the organization.
The digital format will also allow users to learn more about the activist quoted in the posters.
